The Government of Uganda in conjunction with the African Development Bank are financing the Water Supply and Sanitation Project Phase Three. The project will cover various geographical areas and services. The project sites shall include:-

• Igayaza- Kikwaya Water Supply and Sanitation project in Kakumiro District; 
• Kibaale – Kifamba Water Supply and Sanitation project in Rakai District; 
• Barr Water Supply and Sanitation project in Lira District; 
• Otwal Water Supply and Sanitation project in Oyam District; 
• Serere Multi Purpose Water Supply and Sanitation project in Serere District;
• Nabuhikye – Kikyenkye Gravity Flow Water Supply and Sanitation project in Sheema District;
• Shuuku- Matsyoro Gravity Flow Water Supply and Sanitation project in Ibanda District;
•  Katujula-Morikiswa-Soni Water Supply and Sanitation project in Tororo District;
• Cwero Water Supply and Sanitation project in Gulu District;
• Orom  Water Supply and Sanitation project Phase II in Kitgum, Agago and Pader Districts;
• Bembe Water Supply and Sanitation project in Wakiso District;
• Onyamo Earth Dam in Agago District;
• Kasensero Earth Dam In Mubende District;
• Lugazi Feacal Sludge Treatment Plant in Buikwe District;
• Kigumba Feacal Sludge Treatment Plant in Kiryandongo District; &
• Wobulenzi Feacal Sludge Treatment Plant in Luweero District.

The Ministry of Water and Environment as the implementing agency has undertaken all the preparation activities including Environmental Impact Assessment and Chief Government Valuer reports where necessary for all the above projects.
