THE STANDARD NATIONAL CLIMATE CHANGE INDICATORS AND PERFORMANCE INDICATOR REFERENCE SHEETS
Following the creation and approval of the National Climate Change Policy and its Implementation Strategy on April 1, 2015, the Ministry of Water and Environment (MWE) with support from development partners established the Standard National Climate Change Indicators. MWE partnered with USAID’s Feed the Future Uganda Enabling Environment for Agriculture Activity, Government of Uganda Ministries Departments and Agencies, the United Kingdom Department for International Development, the French Embassy, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, Africa Climate Change Resilience Alliance, and academic institutions to compile a key set of standard indicators related to the causes and effects of climate change.
